My dissertation research focused on the genomics of ecotype evolution using Atlantic cod as my study species. My work bridges many disciplines including genomics, otolith microchemistry, and evolutionary modeling. Broadly my research interest is in applying molecular techniques and computer simulations to understand the underlying genomic architecture of within-species adaptation and population diversity. I am interested in applying this knowledge both for basic science inquiry and for managing populations effectively.
